James R. Gaddis

Jim is a graduate of the University of Utah with a degree in Business and Finance. While at the University of Utah he was a member of the Ski and Golf Teams, was NCAA All American in alpine skiing, national champion and member of the US Ski Team. These past experiences have led Jim to becoming a member of the Utah Ski Hall of Fame, University of Utah Sports Hall of Fame, and Intermountain Ski Hall of Fame.

Jim founded Gaddis Investments in 1977, a firm focusing on commercial real estate sales, development, and site locations; including development of single family homes, subdivision, condominium projects, apartments (private and federal), office buildings, shopping centers, neighborhood centers, retail corners and pads, industrial buildings and assisted living facilities. Some past real estate clients include Airborne Express, Arby's, Big O Tires, Boeing Aircraft, Checker Auto, Maverik, Deer Valley Resort, Hollywood Entertainment, Park City Transportation, Q-Lube, Sherwin Williams, Southland Corp, State of Utah, Subway, Toshiba, Wells Fargo Bank, and Zions Bank.

Jim's work experience includes five years as a stockbroker with AG Edwards & Sons and extensive experience in the ski industry as a member of the board and original development team at Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort and former Public Relations Director for the Alta Ski Area. Jim was certified ski instructor, ski coach, and ski equipment sales rep.

Jim devotes many hours to volunteer work and has been or is currently serving on many non-profit boards and chairing such events including Youth Winter Sports Alliance, National Ability Center, Honorary Colonels Association, Joe Quinney Winter Sports Center, Alf Engen Ski Museum, J. Willard Marriott Library Ski Archives, Sundance Film Festival, and Heuga Multiple Sclerosis events.

Terese Walton
Managing Director, Principal Broker

Terese Walton is the Managing Director & Principal Broker at Gaddis Investments, a commercial real estate, investment and development firm. With more than 23 years experience in the field, she is the Managing Director of assets, investments and development. Terese is interested in growing development and investment opportunities, as well as making new tenant and developer connections.

Terese is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, serving as Past Chair of the 2015 ICSC Mountain States Idea Exchange. She is a Past President (2013) of CREW Utah, one of more than 70 markets and 10,000 members globally of CREW Network whose mission is to "Transform the commerical real estate industry by advancing women globally". Terese served on CREW Network's Industry Research Committee in 2017 which produced the white paper: "The Business Advantage - Best Practices for Gender Equity & Inclusion in Commercial Real Estate."

Lorrie Hendricks
Property & Office Manager

Lorrie Hendricks, our Senior Property Manager, received a B.S. from the University of Utah in 1983. In 1995, she began her professional career in Commercial Real Estate working for Cottonwood Realty Services, a Salt Lake Real Estate Development and Management firm. While employed at Cottonwood she managed approximately 900,000 square feet of commercial, retail and industrial third-party properties. In 2001, she had the opportunity to manage the Wells Fargo Center for Wasatch Commercial Management. The tallest building in Utah, consisting of 600,000 SF and 1,500 covered parking stalls. The elegant building housed the Salt Lake Olympic Committee as well as several other prominent businesses. In 2003, she took a job with Hines, where she worked for ten years, managing and leasing premier office buildings in Utah. Her portfolio included the Kearns building, which became the first historic building in Utah to achieve the Energy Star designation. And the Cottonwood Corporate Center, a class A office park consisting of 500,000 square feet on 17 acres. She also assisted in the purchase and staffing of the Gateway Shopping Center and South Town Corporate Center. During her time with Hines, two of her properties won The Office Building of the Year award (TOBY) in Utah then went on to win the West Region TOBY. Most recently, she worked for Cushman Wakefield Commerce where she was Vice President/General Manager of Asset Services. Lorrie played an integral role in the Asset Services group turning a profit, for the first time, in 2016. She built a talented employee base by sourcing and hiring the best in the industry and she successfully networked for new business and oversaw a portfolio, of up to 3 million square feet, for high profile institutional clients.

Her personal emphasis is to develop a thorough understanding of client performance objectives then meet and often exceed them with utmost efficiency.

Lorrie was President of Utah’s Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) in 2014 and 2015. During her term, Environmental Sustainability was a main focus. The BOMA board and BOMA Sustainability Committee provided education, competitions and knowledge of incentives to the industry. They also met with several government officials to address environmental concerns, efforts, ideas, and cultivate a commitment to working together for the betterment of the community.

Lorrie brings years of experience, enthusiasm and love for the industry to Gaddis Investments.

Eric Nelson
Sales & Leasing

Eric has been in the real estate business in Park City for the past 40 years. He has worked in the residential world for Prudential and Sotheby’s and in the commercial and land development business for Cushman & Wakefield and presently for Gaddis Investments. Eric specializes in sales, leasing, land valuation and development in Park City and Salt Lake, representing hundreds of buyers and sellers. He is the Main Street Park City expert. His client list includes Deer Valley Resort, Park City Mountain Resort, Powdr Corp, Vail Resorts, Wells Fargo, Zion’s Bank, Stein Erickson Lodge, The Boyer Company, Talisker, Marker Bindings, Volkl, Web Cor, Stag Lodge, Bill White Restaurant Group, Columbus Pacific Properties and many other residential, land and commercial clients.

Eric graduated from the University of Utah and later worked in the political world in the late 70s and early 80s. He is active in the Park City Community. He has coached kids’ baseball and basketball for 25 years. Eric is involved in the Mountain Trails Foundation and has served on the boards of the park City Chamber of Commerce and the Park City Main Street Alliance.

Michelle Sudbury
Administrative Assistant

Michelle has an extremely varied background. She has worked in many industries over the years including retail, beauty, financial, and sales before discovering real estate. Michelle joined Gaddis Investments in March of 2016 as the Administrative Assistant and her varied skills get put to good use within the company. Working alongside the owner, director and property manager, Michelle helps to organize the asset portfolios while coordinating new office projects.

In addition to raising her family of 3 kids, Michelle’s personal interests including belly dance, reading and sewing..
