Jim Gaddis
Founder
Jim founded Gaddis Investments in 1977, focusing on commercial real estate sales, development, and site locations; including development of single-family homes, subdivision, condominium projects, apartments (private and federal), office buildings, shopping centers, neighborhood centers, retail corners and pads, industrial buildings and assisted living facilities.
Prior to Gaddis Investments, Jim worked for five years as a stockbroker with AG Edwards & Sons. His extensive past in the ski industry is essential to his legacy. His involvement includes being a member of the board and original development team at Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort, the former Public Relations Director for the Alta Ski Area, owner of Gaddis Training Organization (GTO – a training program for young ski racers which became Park City Mountain Resort’s Ski Team), as well as ski coach, ski instructor, and ski equipment sales rep.
Jim is a graduate of the University of Utah with a degree in Banking and Finance. While at the University of Utah he was a member of the Ski and Golf Teams, NCAA All American in alpine skiing, NCAA Slalom and Alpine Combined Champion, National Giant Slalom Champion and member of the U.S. Ski Team. These past experiences have led Jim to becoming a member of the Utah Ski Hall of Fame, University of Utah Sports Hall of Fame, and Intermountain Ski Hall of Fame.
Jim Gaddis is a true philanthropist who is committed to making a difference in the world. He has donated and raised millions for charities, devotes many hours of volunteer work, and has been and/is currently serving on many non-profit boards as well as charity events. Jim’s accomplishments include both the Summit County and University of Utah Hospital Boards, U of U Crimson Club Board, Youth Winter Sports Alliance (a founder), National Ability Center, Stein Eriksen YSA Endowment, Honorary Colonels Association, Joe Quinney Winter Sports Center, Alf Engen Ski Museum, J. Willard Marriott Library Ski Archives, Sundance Film Festival, and Heuga Multiple Sclerosis events.
Terese Walton
Partner, Principal Broker
Terese Walton is Principal Broker and Partner, at Gaddis Investments. With more than 28 years of experience in the field, she is responsible for assets, investments, and development. Prior to working at Gaddis, Terese worked for various developers and owned her own commercial property management company. In 2002, Terese served as a Retail Village Services Manager for the Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City where she was responsible for implementing the outdoor mall within the Olympic Village.
Terese currently serves on the Strategic Planning Committee, and is a Past President (2013) of CREW Utah. The CREW Network is one of more than 80 markets and 14,000 members, whose mission is to, “Accelerate success for all women in commercial real estate globally”. Terese served on CREW Network’s Industry Research Committee which produced the white paper: “The Business Advantage – Best Practices for Gender Equity & Inclusion in Commercial Real Estate.“
Terese is currently a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, and served as Chair of the 2015 ICSC Mountain States Idea Exchange. In her free time, Terese finds happiness with travel, cooking, biking, and skiing.
Michelle Sudbury
Administrative Assistant
Michelle has an extremely varied background having worked in retail, beauty, financial, and sales before discovering real estate. Michelle joined Gaddis Investments in March of 2016 as an Administrative Assistant where she organizes the group’s asset portfolios and coordinates new projects.
In addition to raising her family of three children, Michelle’s personal interests include belly dance, reading and sewing.
Josh Sevy
Property Manager
For 20 years, Josh Sevy was self-employed in the construction industry. These years of broad and multi-faceted experience made his transition to the Gaddis Investments management team seamless. His wealth of experience in commercial projects from construction to operations maintenance and management makes him an ideal asset when it comes to Gaddis Investment’s business development. Josh is also a licensed Real Estate Agent.
Todd Schofield
Property Manager
Todd brings a unique skill set to Gaddis Investments. Being a Graphic Designer for the last 30-years, he’s had the opportunity to deal one-on-one with many Fortune 500 Companies. His expertise in managing large projects with multiple facets is a logical extension to property management, where Todd works with a variety of tenants and properties. Todd is also a licensed Real Estate Agent.
Debbie Woodward
Accountant
Debbie Woodward has handled all of Gaddis Investments’ accounting needs since 2013. She has worked as a consultant to many other clients prior, in a variety of industries.
